Bike Safe

Bikesafe 2011

Grampian Police participate in the national Bikesafe initiative and carry out several courses every year at convenient locations across the Grampian area.

The one day course includes a National Curriculum interactive BikeSafe DVD presentation, followed by workshops from the Scottish Ambulance Service, a local motorcycle mechanic and the Observed Rides with both Police Motorcyclists and members of the
Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists.

The scheme aims to encourage riders to think about their own riding techniques, consider how safe they really are and to look to improve their riding skills through advanced training.

To download an application form, please click here, or for more information contact PC Neil Robertson at THE Road Safety Unit, by e-mailing roadsafety@grampian.pnn.police.uk or phone 0845 600 5 700.
